The following table contains information about the monthly gross starting salary of polytechnic graduates in 2008, according to the Ministry of Manpower. To find out how much you could be earning in your first job, simply search for your course of study below!

Notes :
1. Polytechnics refer to Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Republic Polytechnic (RP), Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP).
2. Fresh poly graduates refer to those who had completed their studies in 2008 and were not liable for National Service (NS) after graduation or had already completed their NS.
3. Post-NS poly graduates refer to male graduates who had completed their studies in 2005 and their full-time NS between April 2007 and Mar 2008.
4. Monthly gross starting salary comprises the basic salary, fixed allowances, overtime pay and commissions. Bonuses are excluded.
