Infocomm Division - Senior IT Analyst
Job Description
The officer will be responsible for:
• In-house system development / maintenance / enhancements
• Manage small to medium-scale projects which are outsourced to vendors
• Analyze, design, develop and maintain the IRIN systems, and help to streamline the business processes and value add to the user requirements
• Responsible for preparing tender specifications, evaluation and implementation of the outsourced systems
• Coordinate and conduct user acceptance tests and training
• Provide system documentation according to the Project Development Methodology
• Provide technical assistance and day-to-day operational support for existing systems
• Conduct post implementation reviews to gather user feedback and schedule for enhancements, improvements and modifications
• Evaluate software package / productivity tools and make recommendations to supervisor
Job Requirements
• Good Degree in Computer Science or IT
• Good knowledge of Finance business domain
• Good knowledge of software development life cycles and structured project development methodology
• Experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
• Practical experience with programming languages and technologies such as C#, .NET, and Java is essential
• Good understanding of web-based applications and web-service standards / protocols such as XML, SOAP and UDDI
• Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills
• Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
